Unexpected bit of cycleway signage in Aspley Guise. This area is hillier than we're used to riding.
It's not signed, but this is a much more direct route from central Biggleswade to the Potton road than the main road for cars.
For those who preferred to stay on the road rather than cross to the shared-use footway, a right-turn refuge has been provided here so there's no need to go around the roundabout.
Cyclists on NCN 51 should cross the road here to use the footway under the A1. It might be simpler just to use the road.
