Current cycle path is used by cars parking illegally. This forces cyclists to go around them and into oncoming traffic who aren’t expecting cyclists coming towards them because they think it’s a one-way street.
This is a steep hill that is difficult to cycle up, so having a dedicated cycle path would separate bikes from traffic

Needs some kind of provision to help pedestrians and cyclists to get to town and station. Too much traffic from too many directions.
The problem is the current route NCN6 takes through busy streets. A pedestrian/cycle crossing for a rerouted NCN6 (Sustrans proposal 2 years ago) and a cycle path to North Station Way to link up with NCN6 to the Sewel Greenway.
